“Show us. Sino bang NPA na na-recruit ko? Sino bang NPA ang na-recruit ni [former Bayan Muna Rep.] Neri [Colmenares], ni [former ACT Teachers party-list Rep. Antonio Tinio]?”
LACSON: “Sino yung na-recruit na nilang NPA? Can you name at least one NPA member na sila yung nag-recruit?”
ESPERON: “The testimonies of our former rebels will show there is recruitment by the organizations that they lead. And therefore, it may not be personally Mr. Casiño or Mr. Colmenares but it is their organization and that is the subject of our presentations,”
LACSON: “Sec. Esperon, can you state, categorically before this committee, na walang directly or personally ni-recruit sina Congressman Casiño, Congressman Colmenares, Congressman Tinio and si [Bayan Muna Rep. Carlos] Zarate and [Kabataan party-list Rep. Sarah] Elago?”
ESPERON: “We have not alleged that. But we are saying that their organizations are recruiters.”
Jeffrey Celiz, who had sported the alias ‘’La Eric’’or ‘’ka Victor’’ when he was with the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP,) He identified the four as former Congressmen Neri Colmenare and Teodoro Casino, and current Representatives Carlos Isagani Zarate of Bayan Muna and Sarah Jane Elago of Kabataan.
